Intro into Sports & Entertainment Marketing
Intro to Sports and Entertainment Marketing is the second course in the marketing pathway. This course introduces the students to the major segment sof the Sports and Entertainment Industry and the social and economic impact it has on the local, state, national, and global economies. The products and services offered to consumers and the impact of marketing on these products and services are examined. Units include business fundamentals, product mix, product knowledge, product/service managements, business regulations, interpersonal skills, selling, marketing information management, economics, distribution, pricing, advertising, publicity/public relations, sales promotion, business risks, and organization.
Prerequisite: Marketing Principles
