Designing Distribution10/23/2019 The layout of a store is a key aspect of distribution. Once a product travels through the channels of distribution, its final stop before reaching the hands of consumers is a retail store. It is up to the retail store where an item is placed and how customers will access the item. That is where a store’s layout comes in to play. Stores strive for accessibility and navigability. Products should logically be grouped together and the organization should help ease shopping. Stores must have entry points for customers but must also have entries and accesses for deliveries.
Your goal is to design a retail store. It can be a Mall, Department Store, Grocery Store, Convenient Store, or any other standard retail facility. You will draw a floor plan of your store. Your Floor Plan Should Include:
